Overview: 

DNA Software, Inc. has a breakthrough in silico technology, called Nucleic Acid CADTM (NA-CADTM), which expands nucleic acid sequence information into all-atom 3D structure predictions of RNA drug targets, complete ribosomes, and diverse structures of interest with near-crystal structure accuracy.

 

All-Atom 3D Structure Prediction:

 

The Nucleic Acid CADTM software program contains algorithms, graphical user interfaces, and other functionality for the analysis and prediction of nucleic acid secondary and tertiary (i.e. 3D) structure.  The algorithms work for both DNA and RNA for sizes up to as large as the entire ribosome.  Two types of structure prediction algorithms are provided: homology modeling and de novo structure prediction.  In addition, functionality for the analysis and prediction of protein 3D structure is also included.

 

Diverse Applications:

  • De novo structure prediction of tRNA, siRNA, miRNA, aptamers, plus many more
  • Homology modeling of ribosomes, ribozymes, introns, riboswitches, plus many more
  • Molecular docking of small molecules/ligands to RNA targets
  • Identification and characterization of RNA binding sites
